How It Works

The software automatically generates the Submittal Log with the required Submittal Types based on the Project Specification CSI Codes, simplifying the tracking and management of project submittals.
Responsible parties are assigned to Project Specification CSI Codes, ensuring that the appropriate project team members are responsible for their relevant submittals within the CSI Code.
Subcontractors can easily identify the Submittal Types required for each CSI Code they are assigned to, facilitating their participation in the submittal process, and ensuring timely submission.
The Submittal Administrator reviews the submittal submission files and then issues the Submittal Item to be reviewed by the Review Administrator.
The Review Administrator is responsible for managing the reviewers and ensuring the final review status is accurate.
After the Submittal Item has been reviewed and approved, the Closed Submittal Item is distributed to the selected project team members for their records and reference. This ensures that all necessary parties are aware and can take any necessary actions.

Submittals is a flexible module that can be enabled or disabled as needed for a project. There is no long-term commitment required, and you can cancel at any time. A minimum billing period of one month is applied for each active project, and all active project solutions are billed at the end of each month. The monthly rate can vary across BuildFlow accounts based on organizational and project needs.
